In this Vision Éternel video, the band portrays a bygone era of Montreal, depicting the city as an Anglophone metropolis prior to the Quiet Revolution of the 1960’s. Band leader Alexandre Julien is photographed wandering the dimly light streets of Old Montreal wearing a fedora hat and a turned-up overcoat, showcasing the band’s obsession with classic films, especially film noirs (and neo-noirs), expressionism and dramas.
